This time, the focus is on the enchanting locations that make up the territory of Enjoy Barocco, a territorial brand that embraces the cities of Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, Ispica and Santa Croce Camerina.
The Blue Flag is a prestigious international award given annually to beaches and marinas that meet strict criteria for environmental quality, sustainable management and safety. Managed by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), this program involves more than 50 countries worldwide, highlighting the commitment of local communities and relevant authorities to environmental sustainability. Beaches honored with this award become attractive tourist destinations, providing visitors with a safe, clean and environmentally friendly vacation experience.
The Excellence of Enjoy Barocco
Enjoy Barocco’s five cities boast an extraordinary wealth of history and landscape, and again this year they stood out for the quality of their beaches. In Ragusa, Marina di Ragusa shone with its golden sand and crystal clear waters, attracting tourists from all over the world to an oasis of relaxation and fun.
In Modica, the beaches of Maganuco and Marina di Modica have confirmed their natural beauty, offering visitors the chance to immerse themselves in a pristine turquoise sea, surrounded by a unique coastal landscape.
Scicli, a gem of Enjoy Barocco, has made its triumphant entry on the Blue Flag list with its beaches of Sampieri and Pisciotto, characterized by an authentic atmosphere and wild beauty.
Also in Ispica, Santa Maria del Focallo has reconfirmed its position of excellence, offering visitors miles of golden beaches and a crystal clear sea that enchants the eyes and soothes the spirit.

For the new entry, Scicli, the importance of this historic recognition was underscored during the award ceremony, which was attended by Mayor Mario Marino and Fee Italy Foundation President Claudio Mazza.
